It started with
a bunk bed and
a bus pass.
Project 9.0 began with young Londoners who had done homework on hostel floors, changed schools mid-term, and watched their friends disappear into placements miles away. Nobody was calling it homelessness. It was just "temporary".
Temporary can last years. Over 102,000 children in London are living it right now — roughly one in every 21 kids in the city.
So we set a clock. Nine years, one date each September, and a plan built with the people who have lived it. 2026 is year one: making it visible. 2035 is the year we want this day to be unnecessary.
